What do we offer?
Our two specialized programs are the Startup Readiness Program and the Investor Readiness Program. Both programs are offered in Dutch and English.
Specialized Development Programs
- Ready to take your startup to the next level? Join our Startup Readiness Program! In three dynamic tracks, GAME (problem validation), SET (problem solution fit) and MATCH (commercial commitment), we guide Northern startups to success. Validate your idea, perfect your solution and get the commercial commitment you need to grow. The tracks are free to attend. Read all about the Startup Readiness Program (SRP) here.
- The Investment Readiness Program (IRP) is designed specifically for founders of startups. For ten weeks you will learn from the very best during a customized program. You will gain essential knowledge and skills and practical advice on how to successfully attract investors. You'll attend individual coaching sessions and workshops from the best in the business. You will learn what investors are looking for and how to navigate the funding process as smoothly as possible. The cost of this program is €299. Startups can participate in our SRP or IRP program if their company/business idea is sustainable/circular, innovative and scalable. In addition, startups must have registered their company in the Northern Netherlands and be active in the IT/AI, HTSM, Agrifood, Watertech, LSH, Energy or Chemical sectors.
One-on-one coaching by experienced business coaches
In addition to the program, we also put you in touch with successful entrepreneurs. In a one-on-one coaching relationship, these entrepreneurs can help you get started. They know all the ins and outs of doing business in the region and are happy to share their experience. The business coaches mentor each startup for about 3 hours per month. The cost is €100 per hour and should be paid directly to the coach.

Introduction to investors
After completing the Investor Readiness Program, we can introduce you to various funding opportunities. We are in close contact with Funds that specialize in digital startups, we can introduce you to angel investors or decide to invest in your startup with our own funds. If investing is still a step too far, we can also help you find a suitable loan. Disclaimer: funding is not a guarantee; we cannot promise in advance that your startup will be funded, as it depends on the performance and development of the startup.
Getting to know our network
One of NOM's greatest assets is our extensive network. We can help you by introducing you to potential partners, suppliers, customers and investors. We will make sure you get a seat at the right table and guide you through to a successful transaction. In addition, we can invite you to relevant internal and external networking events and industry trade shows.
Support with practical matters and workspace
NOM offers support with practical matters, such as applying for the Startup Visa, finding a location/workplace and registration with the Chamber of Commerce. NOM does not offer a physical workplace at its office, but looks for a suitable workplace depending on the needs of startups. We have made arrangements with several business coaches and other external organizations that do offer workplaces. The cost of these workplaces is payable directly to the landlord.
